Jaringan Melayu Malaysia (JMM) just held press conference detailing Tan Sri Mokhzani Mahathir and Datuk Mirzan Mahathir’s car collection.
To back its claim, JMM held up a list of supercars allegedly owned by multi-billionaire Mokhzani worth RM36.2 million in total, including one McLaren P1 said to be worth RM6.2 million.
RM36.2 million? That’s heck of a lot of nice cars.
Mokhzani also own 1 of Malaysia’s 2 Bugatti Veyron (grey) and Pagani Zonda S (blue). This year, Mokhzani also took delivery of a McLaren P1 (white – 903 bhp, 0-100km/h of 2.8 secs and 0 to 200 km/h in 6.8 secs) and a Porsche 918 (887hp, top speed 340 km/h) hyper-car.
JMM also did not explain the source for its list of supercars and how they were linked to Mokhzani, although it did provide a list of corresponding registration plate numbers.
“The authorities do not need to ask for any evidence or testimony (on the list of cars), because this issue is always in the media, same as the case of Wall Street Journal,” JMM said in an accompanying statement, as it urged the MACC and police to start its investigation on Dr Mahathir’s children.
“It is unfair for somebody who tries to reproach others, but he also has his own weakness,” JMM president Azwanddin Hamzah told reporters, referring to Dr Mahathir.
Azwanddin said it is “suspicious” that Mirzan and Mokhzani could have accumulated such billions of ringgit in wealth in such a “short time”,
Who is this JMM? They do seem to have a sense of humour. LOL
However, in my opinion JMM is stupid to even ask this as it is well-known that Tun M’s sons are all natural-born world-class businessmen who made money through hardwork, without relying on any connections at all and without any conflict of interest as they do not do business with the government or Petronas, where the father is the advisor.
It is also common knowledge that the brothers benefited from the “Kerajaan membela anak Melayu” which Tun M mentioned in his sajak yesterday, used to exist before where the majority of the Malays in Malaysia also managed to buy RM36.2 million worth of cars. .
Come on, JMM. These are cars, not bloody handbags! Don’t be stupid.
I think JMM very ‘bodov’ to even suggest anything else.
